Press and hold the Water Filter Reset switch on your Bosch, Siemens, Neff, Balay, or Miele appliance for 5 seconds. For more recent models, pick “filter change” by pressing the Options button, then press the selection buttons + and – to remove it from view.

Maytag: Select Options, Water Filter, Reset, and Yes before closing the menu. When the system is reset, the status indicator will turn green instead of red. Alternatively, hold down the Filter Reset icon for three seconds.
Samsung users should concurrently press the Ice type and Child lock (or Moisture Control) buttons for three seconds. Remember to release the keys after 3 seconds. The reset feature is disabled if you press these two buttons concurrently for five seconds. Release the keys, then carry out the same action once more. Green should appear on the water filtration indicator light.
Appliances Until

Smeg: Hold down the OK icon while pressing and holding the three dashes on the display. Alternately, hold down the Reset Water Filter switch firmly for five seconds.
